A 5-Day Devotional | 2 Corinthians 1:3-10

God doesn't always remove the pressure, but He uses it to teach us where our strength really comes from.

"He has delivered us from such a deadly peril, and he will deliver us again." -2 Corinthians 1:10

sUPPORTING PASSAGES:

"I lift up my eyes to the mountains. Where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth." -Psalm 121:1-2

"Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever." -Hebrews 13:8

"Being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus." -Philipians 1:6

Remembering Who God iS

Paul does not anchor himself in his feelings, his circumstances, or his strength. He anchors himself in what God has already done. He delivered us and He will deliver us again. Anxiety grows when we forget. Faith grows when we remember.

The same God who got you through that hard season, that dark year, that moment where you did not know how you would make it, He is not finished yet. Your history with God is not just a story about the past. It is evidence for what He will do next.

Questions to Consider:

- Where has God shown up for you before, in a season where you did not see how things could work out?

- How does remembering that moment change how you see what you are facing today?

- What is one specific thing you are trusting God with right now?

pRAYER:

"God, I remember when You [name a past moment of provision]. I trust that You are the same God today. I am choosing to believe You are not done."
