Life Hacks
A 5-Day Devotional | 2 Corinthians 1:3-10
God doesn't always remove the pressure, but He uses it to teach us where our strength really comes from.
mAIN SCRIPTURE:
"He comforts us in all our troubles so that we can comfort others. When they are troubled, we will be able to give them the same comfort God has given us." -2 Corinthians 1:4
SUPPORTING PASSAGES:
"Carry each other's burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ." -Galatians 6:2
"Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing." -1 Thessalonians 5:11
"And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose." -Romans 8:28
COMFORT RECEIVED, COMFORT GIVEN
God never wastes a wound. The comfort He has given you in your hardest seasons is not just for you. It becomes the thing you are able to offer someone else in theirs. Your story of being overwhelmed and finding God faithful is someone else's lifeline.
That does not make suffering easy. But it gives it weight and direction. The things you have walked through, surrendered to God, become fuel for someone else's faith. You were not just brought through this for yourself.
QUESTIONS TO CONSIDER:
- Who in your life is going through something similar to what you have faced?
- What comfort has God given you that you could pass on to someone else?
- How might your struggle, surrendered to God, become a source of strength for others?
PRAYER:
"God, do not let what I have been through go to waste. Use it. Use me. Let the comfort You have given me reach someone who needs it."
